Hi there, I'm Wayne!

I truly enjoy working with people in all stages of life. I specialize in, but certainly not limited to, gender issues, sexual orientation issues, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have a long history of working in emergency mental health and working with traumatized first responders and debriefings. All are welcome! :)

My focus

I don't have an 'ideal client'; every human has different needs, wants, and problem areas. It's my responsibility to be the ideal therapist for you. I always strive to provide compassion, understanding, and resources to meet your needs.

My approach

Initially, I like to focus on forming a quick therapeutic relationship so we can start working on the problem areas that you would like to focus on.

I am compassionately direct and like to guide clients down a path where they realize their own solutions to difficult areas in their lives.

My journey to mental healthcare

It was my time in the military that cemented the realization that I would rather help people and that is what I have devoted my life to.

My goals for you

Positive reinforcement and support, as well as challenging beliefs or behaviors that may be inhibiting healthy movement forward. It is also important to me as a provider to establish a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.

Our first session

Generally, I like to make some sort of connection to make sure that I am the right therapist for you and, if appropriate, have a light discussion about the main problem areas. The first session is sometimes the scariest one, so I strive to make it comfortable.
