My journey to mental healthcare

I once told a close friend I wished I could spend all day stopping by different people's houses, listening to what they had going on in their lives. As a therapist, I've been able to learn about so many things through other people's experiences and have enjoyed allowing them to be the expert.

My goals for you

Each individual is unique, so I always work to make treatment goals specific and unique to you. I listen to your goals for treatment and allow you to determine what you're specifically looking to address. I can also help make general goals more specific with tasks, timelines, and strategies.

Our first session

The first thing I do is go over consent forms and discuss client rights, including confidentiality. Then I gather information about what brought you in and any specific things you're looking for. I visit with you to learn about your background and identify relevant information that could be helpful in treatment.
