My journey to mental healthcare

Shockie’s journey into the mental health profession began with a deep desire to be the person she needed when she was younger. She saw firsthand how untreated trauma, broken family dynamics, and systemic inequities could impact an individual’s mental health. She used them as fuel to become a force for healing in the lives of others.
