Hi there, I'm Roxana!

I am biracial, Latina, a woman of color, and an immigrant from South America. I have worked with trauma survivors from different backgrounds, ages, races, incomes, languages, LGBTQ communities, war victims, the homeless, people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, refugees, and individuals from many countries and belief systems.

I have several years of experience working with individuals and families experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, and loss.

My approach

I am trained in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with individuals, couples, and families. I serve as faculty at a Family Residency Program training primary care doctors.
