My communication style

As a soft-spoken therapist, I am adept at listening while asking questions to assure understanding of the client's internal and external situations. I want my clients to feel comfortable discussing anything without them feeling embarrassed. I believe there is to be an expectation of mutual respect.

My journey to mental healthcare

Like many therapists, I have had my share of challenging experiences that I have successfully dealt with, which has driven me to help others manage challenges. This has given me the opportunity to connect with clients on a deeper level, whereas clients have shared with me that they believe I truly understand.

My goals for you

I believe it is important to work together as a team to determine goals and how we will determine if goals are met. In addition, over time, an understanding that goals sometimes shift.

Our first session

A first session is typically an information-gathering session, whereas which clients express why they decided to explore therapy and what their expectations may be. In addition, this therapist will express that the sessions are for the client and to meet their needs that anytime they have an urgent situation needs to be addressed first.
