Hi there, I'm Liana!

I believe in building a strong foundation with my client to promote trust and rapport, and setting clinical goals and expectations for better outcomes. I believe in a client-centered approach moving forward. My experience includes geriatrics, medical social work, forensic social work, outpatient mental health, adolescence, and wellness.

My focus

I'm passionate about women's issues, specifically, postpartum and family issues that require a radical transition. Also, I have spent many years as a medical social worker, which gives me a solid foundation in treating chronic pain and terminal illness.

My approach

I tend to be client-centered and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to promote insight and awareness. 'Start where the client is' remains ingrained in my mind. I believe that the presenting problem dictates the course of therapy and that several modalities of treatment can be helpful in one case.
