I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a first-generation Filipino American, and a Los Angeles native. My own life experiences, along with my clinical training, have shaped how I work with clients. I aim to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and accepted as they are.

My approach

My approach is trauma-centered, goal-oriented, and tailored to your needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused interventions, I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can build insight, strengthen your connection with your own intuition, develop effective coping skills, and work towards change.

My communication style

I believe therapy begins with listening without judgment and creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. My role is to help you better understand your experiences, recognize patterns, and discover your own strengths. I believe meaningful change happens through a collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, and compassion.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up, I saw how culture, family, and life experiences shaped the way people understood mental health—it played a part in why I became a therapist. Working in community mental health allowed me to support families through challenges across different systems. My drive is to support people and help make sense of their experiences.
