Hi there, I'm Erika!

I love doing this work! I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside my clients, to partner with them, support them in their journey, and witness their growth.

My focus

My ideal client is ready and wanting to be in therapy, ready to make a change in their life or in themselves.

My approach

I want everyone to have access to mental health services. I know it's a big deal to just start looking for a therapist, so when we meet, I want you to feel safe and seen and validated. I have a calm presence and am ready to meet you where you're at (figuratively speaking, since this is telehealth).

My communication style

I tend to have a calm and gentle approach. I'll be curious; I'll work to offer varying perspectives and skills that will be useful for you. I let you take the lead in what we work on every session. I'll meet you where you're at, not come in with my own agenda.

Our first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. All of the work we do will be built on this, so it's very important! I'll get to know you, what's bringing you into therapy, and gather some general history. We won't be going too deep, I promise!
