I work at establishing a good rapport with my clients as well as a mutual trusting relationship. Listening and reflection are crucial, along with effective feedback. My areas of strength are with those suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Domestic Violence, and Abusive Relationships.

My focus

I love working with Teens/Adolescents. I want to assist clients with Anxiety and Depressive episodes. I have an extensive background in Domestic Violence and Abusive Relationships. Childhood Trauma and Physical, Sexual, and Emotional Abuse are areas of expertise.

My approach

My approach to therapy uses Eclectic Therapy, as well as Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My communication style

I am extremely relaxed and like to foster an environment of comfort, trust, and safety. Working with me is, and should be, natural, as well as a place to vent and gain coping skills for life.

I am a naturally empathic human being. I am passionate about working with people who are experiencing challenges and traumas in their lives. I am driven by knowing that my work and dedication to my career are empowering to others and that it provides me with a deep sense of overall satisfaction.

Goal setting is an important part of Therapy. I establish a client's goals along with them. Goals are discussed, developed, re-evaluated, and adjusted at various intervals of therapy.

Our first session

Our first session together is a time to get to know each other and to begin the rapport-building process. This is also a time to discuss confidentiality, my scope of practice, and my legal and ethical responsibilities. I also like to find out the reason you're seeking therapy at this stage in your life.
