You don't have to be alone with your hardships; we all struggle in life at one point or another. If you feel you are currently struggling due to depression, anxiety, identity, relationships, work stress, communication, or finding your place in the world, life's complications and difficulties can be made more accessible with understanding, conversation, and support. I am happy to be beside you during this time and guide you through it, using my years of study and experience to help you move toward a state of life you are happier in.
My approach
When we are together in session, I promise to provide you with the help and respect you deserve, which is nothing less than excellent. We can work together to find the questions and answers you need to overcome the hurdles you are currently experiencing, the same way that I have been helping others before you over the past decade. During that time, I learned that no two people share the same problem and that no one is beyond helping or recovering.
My focus
I accept people from all walks of life, regardless of where you come from, where you are now, or where you are heading in life. I specialize in working with individuals on a wide range of issues, including adolescents/teens, aging, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, career counseling, children, codependency, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, divorce, domestic violence, family conflict, grief, infertility, infidelity, internet addiction, LGBTQIA+, life coaching, life transitions, men's issues, mood disorders, parenting, racial identity, racial trauma, relapse prevention, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, self-harming, sexual abuse, sexual orientation, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD, video game addiction, weight loss, women's issues, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum, older adults, child abuse or neglect, marital/pre-marital issues, and gender identity.
My communication style
When we communicate, my focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I listen with empathy and openness, asking questions to fully grasp your perspective. My responses are thoughtful and direct, aiming to provide clarity and insight. I believe in the power of collaborative dialogue to foster growth and healing.
My journey to mental healthcare
I received my Master of Marriage Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education in 2014. This education, along with over a decade of experience helping people from all backgrounds overcome their struggles, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide excellent care and support to my clients.
My goals for you
The fact that you are here ready to reach out is the first step and often the most difficult because you may be making it on your own. If you choose to work with me, then reaching out will be the last step in this process you ever take without someone by your side helping you find the way. My goal is to be there to support and guide you every step of the way as you work to overcome your current challenges and move towards a happier, more fulfilling life.
