I believe that life's challenges do not need to be experienced alone and that there is immense value in having someone by your side to support you. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to hold space with clients and to be present with them as they experience the hard and the heavy of life.
My focus
I primarily provide services to women across the lifespan and the LGBTQ+ community about a broad range of themes, including gender/sexuality/identity, family-of-origin relationships and romantic partnerships, and trauma processing/healing. I am trauma-informed, BIPOC allied, and LGBTQ+ affirming.
My approach
I prioritize the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, and make tenants of compassion, empathy, gentleness, and warmth central to my work. I emphasize, honor, and acknowledge baby steps as being just as important as big steps, and believe they are just as vital to a client's therapeutic growth and change.
