Hi there, I'm Evangeline!

For the past 20 years, I have worked with individuals and families to stabilize and support those in crisis. As a parent of 3 children, one of whom is on the Autism Spectrum, I understand how difficult it can be to meet the needs of those who depend on us, while also taking care of ourselves.

My goal is to support parents, families, and individuals as they navigate challenges.

My approach

I approach therapy from a strengths-based solution-focused perspective. As a licensed clinical social worker, I have been trained to see an individual as part of a larger system, and to identify the forces that may be contributing to the problem.

My communication style

I seek to listen and understand by creating a non-judgmental space for clients to explore and process the challenges they are facing.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to therapy was shaped by my experiences as a parent of a child with Autism, and knowing firsthand the many challenges that are involved in parenting a child with special needs while also managing life's demands. My hope is to be a resource for individuals and families as they navigate the stressors and challenges of life.

Using IFS, I seek to help clients identify the parts of themselves that are causing them problems, to connect clients to their truest selves, and to give them tools to manage the challenges in their lives.
