Being a Licensed Mental Health Therapist has given me the opportunity to work in a variety of different roles, settings, and diagnoses from all cultures facing many life stressors including, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, trauma, PTSD, OCD, substance abuse, interpersonal relationship, addictions and eating disorders.
My focus
I assist clients with recognizing how unresolved trauma impacts one life. I shall offer tools to help clients work through trauma. Client shall learn how to heal while taking control of their life. I help clients identify and address what is causing their anxiety and depression. I work with clients to change their meaning of situations.
My approach
The goal is to help the client replace dysfunctional constructs with more flexible and adaptive cognition. Also have also helped clients change how they think in order to change behavior. Been successful in treating eating disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, PTSD, and self-destructive behaviors.
