I explain that goal setting supports collaboration and creates a client-guided structure for therapy. Initially, therapy goals can be broad and goals can be added or modified as sessions progress or client identifies a change in objective.

Our first session

The first session we can get to know each other, ask each other questions, and set objectives for future sessions. This process will allow us to become better acquainted and allow us to assess each session with productive measures.
