VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Irene!

I’m a first-generation Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an eclectic, culturally responsive approach to therapy. I focus on supporting first-generation, young BIPOC adults who are motivated to build self-compassion, acceptance, and a stronger sense of identity and belonging. I tailor my approach according to your individual needs.

My focus

I enjoy working with first-generation BIPOC adults who are navigating life transitions or cultural stressors and often discover that ADHD, anxiety, or past traumas have been quietly shaping their experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed or self-critical on the inside.

My approach

I am a certified Brainspotting therapist, and use an integrative approach incorporating CBT, narrative therapy, compassion-focused practices, and strengths-based perspectives. My work is culturally responsive, and I support clients in exploring identity, family, and cultural dynamics, and developing self-compassion and acceptance.
