My communication style

I practice from a collaborative approach that feels conversational for clients while incorporating interventions as needed. Clients often describe me as approachable and gentle when giving more specific feedback to them.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a psychologist to help those with histories of trauma to help reduce the barriers survivors face navigating healing. I was always personally interested in helping others find fulfillment in their sexuality, and through my work have seen how this closely relates with trauma.

My goals for you

I assist clients in understanding the history of their presenting concern(s), how past experiences impact them currently, and what changes they can make to alleviate their concerns. I value and utilize client feedback to adjust interventions to ensure treatment aligns with their goals.

Our first session

First sessions are semi-structured with the goal of building rapport, gathering information about your presenting concern(s), and assessing if we could be a "good fit". I know the first time meeting a therapist can be anxiety inducing, so while prioritizing these goals I also want to ensure I'm creating a safe space for you.
