The decision to seek therapy can be a difficult one. Life is unpredictable and stressful at times. If you feel sad, helpless, anxious, overwhelmed, having difficulty with self-esteem issues, a life transition, or difficulty in your personal/professional life, you do not have to go through this alone. Together we will work on ways to process and cope with what is causing distress.
My approach
As a clinical therapist, I strive to make therapy a comfortable and nonjudgmental place where growth and improved functioning can begin. I use various therapeutic models, including strength-based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), grief therapy, attachment therapy, etc., to achieve greater happiness and satisfaction in life. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD, grief, ADHD, anger management, and school issues.
My communication style
I engage with warmth and empathy, fostering a safe space for open dialogue. Through active listening and thoughtful questions, I seek to understand your unique experiences and needs. My communication is direct yet compassionate as we collaborate to find effective strategies and solutions tailored to your goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist since I have always been interested in human behavior and how different aspects of an individual's life contribute to their personality and functioning.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you improve functioning to the best of your ability. I care for each person I see and care about the difference they make in their lives.
My first session with you
During the first session, I provide a safe space where I seek to know and understand what brought you into therapy. We then work on a treatment plan to assist with meeting your goals.
