Her approach experience and training in facilitating both individual and group therapy are enriched through holistic and the use of evidence-based practices (EBPs) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Bowen Family therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Logotherapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Task-Centered/Problem-Solving Therapy. She is passionate about improving service delivery and treatment outcomes for individuals diagnosed with dual diagnosis, psychotic spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, etc, Additional areas of specialty include suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, substance abuse, Domestic Violence, seeking safety, etc.

My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in becoming a therapist has been a learning experience of personal life lessons and challenges that lead me to give back in how I have overcome and champion barriers/opportunities in life. Along the way in my journey, I had key people who saw the potential in me and that’s what I see in every person I work with, their strengths and potential.
