Hi there, I'm Areen!

I’m a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I enjoy sitting with those looking to heal, that want to understand patterns to get "unstuck", regulate emotions, and build healthier relationships.

My focus

I have experience helping clients with stress, anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, self-awareness. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I also have plenty of experience with women in various stages of life. I believe everyone can use a safe space to process the season of life they're in.

My approach

My approach is holistic. My work is rooted in attachment-based and solution-focused care, integrating psychodynamic, family systems, and CBT approaches. I help clients understand how early experiences shape current patterns to build insight, and create meaningful, lasting change. Who you are, where you come from and your experience matters.

My communication style

I aim for our sessions to feel comfortable, safe and calm. I want clients to feel like it is a warm and non-judgmental space where they can dive into anything and feel seen, respected and heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

I simply love sitting with people and learning about their lives. I have always loved listening to stories from others and being a part of the chapter that helps them heal, gain peace of mind, and feel happier. I also believe sometimes we just need a safe space to connect and walk through some difficult chapters.

My goals for you

My focus is that you have a safe space to process wherever you are at and also provide structure so that you have tools to accomplish what you aim for in therapy. I keep it simple by creating personalized and measurable goals that make sense to you.

The first session is a space to understand what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, get a sense of your history, and begin identifying patterns. You can expect to feel heard, supported, and clear on next steps.
