Hi there, I'm Ryan!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

My approach

My therapeutic approach draws from various modalities, including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples Therapy, Culturally Sensitive therapy, Family Therapy, Grief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered therapy, Strength-Based approaches, and Trauma Focused techniques. I tailor my approach to best meet the unique needs of each client.

My focus

I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and children, as well as adults across the lifespan from young adults to older adults. My areas of focus include adoption, anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, job stress, men's issues, parenting, school issues, self-esteem, sex therapy, trauma and PTSD, and marital/pre-marital counseling.

My communication style

I believe in open, honest communication that fosters trust and understanding. My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I listen attentively to understand your unique perspective and needs. Together, we'll engage in meaningful dialogue to support your growth and well-being.

My goals for you

My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive changes in your life. Together, we will work to identify and build upon your innate strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate greater self-awareness and self-compassion on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to establish a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. I will take the time to listen to your story, assess your needs and goals, and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. From there, we will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve your desired outcomes.
