Hello! My name is Dr. Lentz, and I have been practicing in the field of psychology for over 10 years. I have assisted those in need, from young children to the elderly, with a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, academic, behavioral, career, marital, and other mental health conditions.
My approach
I do not view mental health as a problem. Instead, it is a challenge that is waiting to be worked through. Life consists of serious ups and downs that are sometimes better handled in therapy. With that said, I am a results-driven therapist who strives for improvement regarding any challenge one may face.
My focus
I am willing to see minors (ages 13-17), preteens (ages 8-12), individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include working with adolescents/teens, anxiety, borderline personality, behavioral issues, coping skills, depression, emotional disturbance, impulsivity, family conflict, job stress, life coaching, marital/pre-marital issues, stress, women's issues, sports performance, self esteem, school issues, relationship issues, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
My communication style
I believe in open, direct communication. My style is results-oriented yet empathetic. I create a safe space where you can express yourself fully. Together, we'll identify challenges and work towards positive change through honest dialogue and practical strategies tailored to your unique needs.
My journey to mental healthcare
I obtained my PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology. I completed my clinical hours for licensure from September 2012 to May 2015 at Outreach Concern in Santa Ana, CA and from January 2017 to January 2019 at Canyon Ridge Hospital in Chino, CA.
My goals for you
I am excited to work with anyone experiencing a mental health challenge, and I look forward to meeting with you soon!
