My name is Danielle and I am dedicated to helping to promote and improve Emotional Wellness. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and have worked in the field for over 20 years. I am here to help support and walk alongside you as you work to make changes to your life and will help guide your personal growth as we collaborate to develop your personal goals.
My approach
I draw from several different traditional therapeutic modalities and will work with you to determine the most useful interventions to use to support your growth. I will adapt my treatment approach to each individual client's needs and goals. It is important to me that you feel validated and comfortable enough to be able to participate (with me) in your journey of growth and healing. Having a safe space to work through thoughts, ideas and feelings is an important part of how to prioritize your health and happiness. I have significant experience with Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Interpersonal therapy (IPT), Humanistic therapy, Family systems, and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with children, adolescents to adults, either in individual, couple or family sessions.
My focus
Health for your mind is important and I want to help you find balance in areas that can be difficult to navigate to bring emotional wholeness to your life. I work with clients impacted by depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, healthy communication, stress management, grief, loss and trauma.
My communication style
Therapy can be a beautiful experience as well as uncomfortable at times. I have a direct, supportive and therapeutic communication style. My hope is that we will create a meaningful alliance that will help you feel cared for and comfortable to share with me.
My journey to mental healthcare
My love for therapy started at a very young age when my Grandpa shared with me that everyone needs someone they can share with that can be neutral and supportive. I’ve experienced many beautiful and challenging times in my life and during each of those moments I have had someone that I can share and process with and my hope is to be able to pass that along to others.

Goal setting is crucial to reaching your therapeutic goals. I strive to create an environment that will help you create the goals you want to see in your life and support you with reaching those goals.
My first session with you
During our first session, I hope to get to know each other enough so you feel safe sharing your needs and goals. You are welcome to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable and ready for and we will create a plan together for follow up sessions.
