I am passionate about working collaboratively with all of my clients to effect positive outcomes for their lives.

My focus

I have worked with families and individuals (children and adults) with a variety of challenges from one spectrum to the other and have loved every minute of it. I feel confident that I will continue to offer the same level of expertise and support when I work with you.

My approach

My approach is client-centered. I will meet you where you are in your journey and with unconditional positive regard. I believe in creating realistic treatment goals and expectations together, along with the willingness on both parts to keep an honest and trusting dialogue throughout.

My communication style

It is always my first goal to establish a rapport and trust with you. I want you to feel listened to and cared about, as I can assure you that my responses will be specific to you and genuine.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was a teacher, and during that time, I found myself migrating to children and families who needed more help; whether academically (i.e.,)or in mental health. After a while, I realized that I wanted to pursue Clinical work. My father is a Psychologist and Professor and among the many treasurable things he taught me.

Our first session

I like to offer what I call a 'meet-n-greet', where we take a few moments to get to know one another. I will offer transparency in our discussion, in an effort to build your trust and hope.
