My name is Sarina Pan (Tsueyhwa Pan). I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in the Los Angeles area working with clients via telehealth in the state of California. I work with adults across all ages. I help people experience relief from shame, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and inner criticism through self-understanding, self-exploring, and self-compassion. Hearing people out and providing help/support for healing through professional training is my mission as a therapist. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Mandarin.
My approach
My approach to therapy is based on the needs of each client I work with. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to guide clients to unfold their struggles/challenges and build a shared understanding of their reality in the hope of bringing growth/healing to their lives.
My focus
I am open to working with adult clients through all ages 18 and above.
My communication style
I am patient, listen to clients, and engage with their concerns and worries. I am personable and like my clients to feel comfortable bringing up their problems without feeling judged. I also like to provide references and assign reasonable homework to clients to ensure we can explore and learn together.
