Hi there, I'm Lauren!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (she/her). I use a Mindfulness and Performance approach to therapy to help high performers and athletes.

My focus

I typically work with high-performing athletes, actors, or performers, supporting them in taking their excellent talent and confidence to the next level. I help clients find ways to manage their anxiety and find ways to have peace in their day.

My approach

I help with confidence and relationship building around wanting to perform better in your life and work. I encourage having a healthy work-life balance as well as the value of rest, to improve mental health conditions. I specialize in a mindfulness-based approach.

My communication style

I have a cozy environment filled with books in my office, and I use encouragement and affirmations to support you. I attempt to be centered and present in our sessions and hope for the same from you.

I am a good listener and problem solver, and I am open-minded and driven to normalize mental health in athlete communities and communities of color.

My goals for you

I work with people who are used to having their goals accomplished, and I support goal setting by helping clients set a goal and break it up into more reasonable steps to accomplish their goals during therapy.

I will ask you some questions, as well as allowing you to offer some solutions in the moment, and giving you space to talk through your reasons for coming to therapy.
