I help individuals, couples, and families navigate complex emotional and relational issues. My experience extends to clinical work and teaching at the graduate level.

My focus

My training and experience have mostly focused on trauma work, specifically working with clients who have experienced trauma at any stage of their lives. In addition, I help clients adjust to change and life transitions.

My approach

I utilize a systems-based approach which allows me to work from a wider relational lens, affording a more comprehensive view of the presenting issues. I believe this empowers clients to make lasting changes that positively impact all areas of their lives.

I provide a safe and contained environment for clients to feel comfortable and open to sharing their feelings and thoughts.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am passionate about the field of Psychology. I find that this work provides the opportunity to make a positive change in the lives of people. Consequently, it gives me a sense of purpose.

I believe it is important to create goals collaboratively with the client. These goals need to align with what the client is seeking and yet be clinically appropriate.

I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. My goal in the first session (and all sessions) is to convey professionalism and genuineness, and seek to assist the client clinically.
