My communication style

I have a very soothing tone of voice, utilize supportive and encouraging words or phrases, and listen deeply. I make efforts to understand the client's concerns and ideas around how to manage their concerns first, in order to ensure that I'm meeting their needs in the best possible way.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I want to help improve the outcomes for those who are struggling with their mental health. I continue to be motivated to continue this work because of the progress that I see in my clients. I hope that we can work together to improve your life experience and meet your goals.

My goals for you

I use SMART goals to determine the measurability and progress toward the goals we set. The measurability of goals is flexible and based on the client's observations, as well as other measurable aspects like the symptoms assessments GAD7 and PHQ9.

Our first session

Goal setting is an important part of the process and tends to be completed in the first or second session. First sessions are typically used to understand the client's needs, personality, and to determine if the relationship between client and therapist is appropriate based on therapeutic desires.
