My focus

I work with individuals who suffer in silence with anxiety or depression, struggle with addiction, or have experienced abuse or trauma. I support people who want to feel comfortable in their own skin and need additional support navigating life.

My approach

CBT, DBT, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic therapy are mainly the modalities that I use in practice. These models I have found to be the most effective in promoting positive changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. These changes are empowering, leading you to live a higher quality of life.

My communication style

My style of communication is very practical and is considered to be a very open style. It's an exchange of information and experiences, filled with compassion and authenticity. Through my style of communication, you will feel that "It is okay to not be okay".

My journey to mental healthcare

I've encountered situations that changed my life forever, leaving me questioning my sanity, value, and self-worth. I wanted answers and to improve my quality of life, so I became a therapist to help myself and others with similar questions and feelings.

Together, we'll identify your strengths, unique potential, and abilities, and work towards overcoming your challenges. You establish the goals and what you expect from treatment, and I become part of your support network.

Our first session

The first session is our opportunity to get to know each other. We will discuss your history and your current situation. We will discuss policies and rules and establish how we want our sessions to be conducted. We will begin the process of forming a therapeutic relationship and bond.
