My communication style

My priority is to create a space for you to be yourself, to feel safe enough to be vulnerable and open. I also thoroughly enjoy moments of humor and "real talk" to lighten the mood.

My journey to mental healthcare

My mental health provider journey began working in psychiatric hospitals, where I noticed so much of people's symptoms and pain stemmed from their experiences. I witnessed amazing examples of resilience, self-discovery, and recovery. Over time I have stuck to the belief that treating the person - not just the symptoms - is so important to healing.

My goals for you

After getting to know each other, we will look at what you want to get out of your time in therapy, and what it looks like to get there. We will work together to learn what works and does not work, and be collaborate every step of the way.

Our first session

Your first session will look at what brings you to therapy, what you may expect from me or the therapy process in general, and a good amount of time sharing who you are as a person, outside of your pain or trauma.
