I focus on challenging family dynamics, cultural norms affecting mental health in Latine/a/o/x and BIPOC communities, intersectional and intergenerational trauma, first-generation impostor syndrome, and parentified childhood impacts.
My approach
I walk alongside you, offering coping skills and supporting deeper self-understanding. My approach primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy to identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns while improving emotional self-awareness. I also use solution-focused, problem-solving therapies combined with motivational interviewing and mindfulness.
