My communication style

I like to create a relaxed, friendly environment in sessions where you are free to be exactly who you are. My clients often say they feel comfortable telling me anything because they can tell I do not judge them, but will keep them safe and support their goals in treatment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided I wanted to be a therapist when I was badly bullied at school and no one was doing anything about it. I was sent to a school psychologist who never taught me how to get the help I needed to make the bullying stop. I decided I wanted to be a therapist so I could ask real questions and stop harm from occurring.

My goals for you

I like to chat about goals for treatment often throughout our work together, as these may shift as you grow. We will establish a few right away during our first interaction.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll discuss your therapy goals, past experiences that helped or hurt so I can continue what worked and avoid what didn't, and information about you as a person. I always ask that you tell me if you're uncomfortable with a topic, so therapy is a positive environment.
