I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with more than 30 years of experience serving children, individuals, and families across a variety of therapeutic settings within Sacramento, California. My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a strong belief in each person's capacity for growth.

My ideal clients are children and their caregivers who are seeking to strengthen attachment, communication, emotional attunement, and positive relational experiences within the family system.

I am passionate about instilling hope in children and families while assisting in recognizing strengths, reach desired potential, and make meaningful behavioral changes. Together, we will create a supportive space to explore challenges, build practical skills, and move towards healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

I come to our session with warmth, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. I am here to work along with you and your family in order to instill hope and assist you in making behavioral changes.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a young teenager, I got to experience the warmth and empowerment from participating in therapy. Since then, I have always wanted to provide others with that same sense of hope.

Within our first couple of sessions, we will collaborate together on treatment goals that are doable and challenging for you. Throughout our time together, we will reassess treatment goals based on progress and need.

During our first time together, I like to gain an understanding of you and what your world is like through discussion on family, strengths, presenting symptoms of concerns, challenges, and goals for treatment. I am also seeking an understanding of how best that I can assist you with your goals for therapy.
