Hi there, I'm YOSEPH!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with individual adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children. I am goal-oriented and strength-based, and I expect accountability, dedication, and consistency from each individual that I work with.

My focus

I have a wide range of clients that I work with and many different conditions, ranging from depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, anger management, impulse control, relationship issues, family issues, parenting concerns, and more.

My approach

I typically use mindful and holistic approaches; however, I am eclectic in modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused couples therapy, structural family therapy, motivational interviewing, and more.

My communication style

I am very positive but also honest and direct. However, I am laid back and welcoming and use occasional humor to build rapport and help my clients feel comfortable and reassured.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began working in mental wellness over 17 years ago. I have always been interested in mind, body, and spirit and how each is related and require on anther in order to operate at maximum potential as individuals. What drives me is the satisfaction of helping others reach their potential and overall growth.

Goal setting is individualized and should include a collaborative effort from everyone involved in the therapy process. I am here to help facilitate change, and I realize that although I may be an expert on change, people are the experts on themselves.

Our first session

The first session will include an assessment where we discuss issues about why you are in treatment, basic logistics of each session, and begin to formulate the direction of sessions. The first session will also serve as a platform to get to know one another and make sure that we are a good match to continue treatment.
