Hi there, I'm Sharon!

I work well with individuals who are shy or fearful of entering therapy. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of AD/HD and learning disorders such as dyslexia. I support many young adults who have struggled academically.

My focus

I work with clients on ethnic issues related to individuation, identity, and family expectations. I have formal training working with Asian Americans. I specialize in the psychology of religion and how spiritual beliefs can uplift or hurt. I support individuals with ADHD and learning disorders such as dyslexia.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive behavioral with a focus on pragmatism. I address chronic mental illness, adjustment issues relating to ethnic, cultural, generational, and religious concerns, and questions of meaning in life. I view individuals holistically within their environmental and social context.
