Hi there, I'm Anastasia!

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, having obtained my doctorate in marriage & family therapy at Alliant International University. I have over 150 training hours and over 7 years of experience with sex therapy. My clinical experience focuses on working with couples in sex therapy as well as helping girls & womxn heal from sexual trauma.

My focus

I am trained to work with clients of various backgrounds and identities. I also specialize in working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

My approach

I am more integrative with my theoretical approach. For couples, I inform relational work primarily through EFT, the Gottman Method, Somatic, Narrative, and Imago Therapy. For adult individuals, I use Somatic and Mindfulness-based approaches, as well as Narrative Therapy.

I promote a safe environment that is collaborative and involves meeting my clients where they are in their healing journey.

My journey to mental healthcare

Understanding myself and my cultural history and wanting to give back to my identified community in the form of mental health, because it is needed and beneficial to those wanting to heal and experience both individual and relational growth.

My goals for you

A visualization exercise that includes asking the client how they view the problem(s) they are facing and when they would know if a shift or change in how they are managing the problem(s) occurs. It's strength-based and is meant to provide a sense of agency and empowerment for my clients.
