Hi there, I'm Jordan!

I work with individuals to explore how early relationships shape their current emotional lives, helping them develop deeper self-awareness and relational connections in order to live a more fulfilling life. My approach is collaborative, grounded in evidence-based practice, and supports lasting emotional growth and resilience.

My focus

I work with high-functioning adults who may look successful on the outside but feel stuck, empty, or unfulfilled on a deeper level. Many of my clients are curious, open-minded, and desire to live more authentically and in line with their values. Together, we can uncover hidden forces that have held you back from living as you desire.

My approach

I use attachment-based psychodynamic therapy and emotion-focused therapy to help you identify long-standing patterns and find your way out of them. Rather than only treating external symptoms, I believe it's helpful to get to the root of the problem so you can find long-term transformation and resolution.

My communication style

At the beginning, I ask questions to understand your concerns, needs, and goals. Though I'm the professional, you're the expert on yourself. I start sessions open-ended because your ability to access and express your thoughts and feelings is essential. I follow your lead and help you put the pieces together.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up moving across the world piqued my curiosity in people—how we function and the forces that shape us. I was fascinated by concepts like attachment theory and decided to attend graduate school to learn how to apply them. My own personal therapy, self-care, and ongoing consultation are some of my most important tools.

My goals for you

I believe moving through stuck places requires new emotional and relational experiences. When we can't label and express emotions in an accepting space, this results in symptoms like depression or anxiety. As we slowly process emotions and practice new ways of relating, this frees up space to live how you'd like.

Our first session

The first session is about connecting and getting information for both of us. I answer questions about logistics and my approach, then ask many questions to get to know you—starting with what's bringing you in and why now. The first few sessions help us determine if my style feels like a good fit.
