My communication style

I describe myself as a professional friend that is there to listen to you with no judgment, sometimes just there to listen and other times to help you self-reflect. It depends on the stage of treatment that we ar ein, but my hope is that we will be able to form and maintain trust that sometimes is difficult to form in real world.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a survivor of sexual and physical trauma, I remember what it felt like to feel out of control and not know how to not be a part of the cycle of abuse. I never felt like I had a say in my life. I want to empower them and help them see that they do have control and they can change things if they set their mind to it.

My goals for you

I set goals that are realistic and attainable, it can be as small as setting a bed time routine and something big as learning how to communicate assertively in their own words. It depends on what the client wants and needs at the moment that we meet. I am happy to take it one step at a time.

Our first session

My clients should expect a caring, empathic person that wants to hear their story and attentively listens and focuses on the causes that are leading them to treatment. They can expect a person that actively sees them and wants to actively connect.
