VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Charity!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #101011 with a primary focus on BIPOC folks of all genders and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. As a transgender and queer therapist, I understand the need for someone who identifies similarly and has a deeper understanding of the issues marginalized communities face.

My focus

My areas of clinical focus are anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ and transgender issues. My areas of specialty are attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, men's issues, women's issues, parenting, trauma, panic disorder, identity, family, and cultural issues.

My approach

My approach to therapy is meeting the client where they are and forming a healthy and safe working relationship. I believe therapy is not a "one size fits all" and will utilize different techniques and therapeutic modalities depending on my client's needs. The modalities I enjoy using are DBT, CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, and attachment theory.
