My communication style

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself. My communication style is warm, honest, and collaborative, balancing compassionate listening with direct, thoughtful feedback, practical guidance, and encouragement. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling understood, hopeful, and equipped with practical tools.

My journey to mental healthcare

For more than 35 years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through education, counseling, and mental health. Becoming an LMFT was a natural extension of that journey, allowing me to continue helping people strengthen relationships, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My goals for you

Every client is unique, so we'll work together to identify goals that reflect what's most important to you. I use a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to help you build on what's already working, develop practical tools, and overcome obstacles one step at a time. We'll celebrate progress, adjust goals and focus on creating meaningful change

Our first session

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll take time to understand your concerns, strengths, and goals while creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. Together, we'll begin identifying practical next steps and develop a plan that feels meaningful, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
