I was born in Mexico and raised in Los Angeles. I am Spanish-speaking and love using Spanish sayings during sessions. There is great wisdom in some of these idioms. I am a working mother and have been in private practice for over ten years, working with adults.

I work with clients who are facing conditions such as Anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorder. I also enjoy supporting individuals through life transitions, divorce, new parents, retirement, career transitions, etc.

I am passionate about decreasing the stigma of receiving mental health. I also enjoy supporting individuals through life transitions: divorce, new parents, retirement, career transitions, etc. I approach my work as a collaboration where the client is the expert, and I am just there to support them to reach their goals.

I will ask you what are some goals you would like to work on. This is usually done as a conversation. Questions are encouraged throughout the session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe I was always meant to be a therapist. As a child, I enjoyed listening to people tell their stories. As a professional, I strive to help people live better lives and achieve their potential.

I approach goal setting as a collaborative process. I ask the client what they would like to address in therapy. I allow clients to dictate what they would like to work on.

Our first session

We will discuss the reason they are coming in for therapy, gather data, obtain information regarding office policies, and inquire about what goals they want to set.
