Many of us fall into thinking things will be better when we have more or become different. This creates disappointment, critical self-talk, and feelings of not being enough. We live this way in secret, pretending all is well. Just as we create these circumstances, we have the power to break out and redefine our lives in meaningful ways.
My focus
I help people move through the things that make them feel stuck in everyday life. I work with a range of concerns including severe and persistent mental illnesses, using psychodynamic conceptualization, an existentially-oriented approach, evidence-based interventions, and trauma reprocessing.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is warm, curious, and centered around noticing patterns to help you discover your values. Once established, they create space for exploration and hope. With practice, we build skills to accept unfavorable circumstances, increase openness to new opportunities, and expand what is possible.
