Hi there, I'm Brenda!

Navigating therapy and trying to find the best fit in a time of uncertainty can feel challenging but is worthwhile for your future self. I work with adolescents to young adults navigating the various challenges and life transitions that they all face with focal points of empowerment, self-reflection and ability to envision a life worth living.

My focus

Feeling lost, unmotivated or overwhelmed? I work with adolescents and young adults with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and working through life transitions. I work towards empowering individuals to strive for emotionally corrective experiences and build the resilience to self-sustain themselves, while building insight and self-awareness.

My approach

I use client-centered approach to support diverse clients while utilizing helpful tools through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy to identify thought patterns, patterns of behavior, relationship issues, values, goals to strengthen coping skills and self-esteem.
