Hi there, I'm Kathryn!
Have you ever wondered why you are finally able to get out of a situation you know is unhealthy for you, just to find yourself in an almost identical one? It's not your fault! I help clients identify the thoughts, feelings, and unconscious processes that create a cycle with their environment that is very challenging to get out of on one's own.

Do you constantly question your worth and place in the world and engage in negative self-talk, leading you to ask if anything could ever get better? I help clients identify how to challenge these beliefs to gain a more accurate understanding of themselves and how this can have a profound impact on our outside world and the way others treat us.
My approach
In our work together, I will use a person-centered approach to establish empathy and safety, and Motivational Interviewing to gain insight into information that you accept as fact. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify distortions and Psychoeducation on Attachment and Parts Therapy to explore how these "truths" came to be.
