Hi there, I'm Autumn!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience working with the complexities of mental health. I enjoy unpacking the science behind our lives and helping others to make the connections needed, hoping to leave clients feeling at peace, hopeful, and able to move forward.

My focus

I've seen results with people from various backgrounds and issues; however, I find clients gravitate to me who are feeling stuck in one or more areas of their lives and looking for a way to move forward confidently. Whether it's related to relational trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, women's issues, life transitions, or other stressors.

My approach

I believe our understanding impacts our mental health, so I value the use of evidence-based tools and research. I use a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Somatic therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and have a humanistic, psychodynamic approach.

My communication style

I strive to provide an open, safe environment for self-exploration. I really put an importance on meeting you where you are, so we can identify just the right tools to walk you through instead of feeling forced or pressured. While I may explore blind spots, I encourage you to identify and meet the goals you have for your life.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I value being seen and heard myself, and love to be able to provide that to others. I believe a relationship is a vital part of self-exploration and growth. I'm glad to be available to others and be the middleman as one navigates life's challenges, and do so with compassion and evidence-based support.

In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore some brief family and symptom history, explore your goals, and begin building a trusting relationship where you feel heard and supported.
