My communication style

I'm clear, direct and very to the point. I use humor, when appropriate, and I tend to be calm. I am often playing music in session, which can help set the atmosphere at times. I am 100% focused on listening to what you say AND what you don't.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've essentially been a therapist for most of my life. I'm the person people call to talk, to vent, to cry. After a previous career in Journalism, I decided to pivot into therapy to make it official. I enjoy listening to people, about what they're going through, then helping them figure it out.

My goals for you

How your goals are reached is mostly up to you. I encourage, empower, support, give tools. I ask questions along the way to make you think and to challenge you, helping to guide you towards the answers and resolutions that you need.

Our first session

The first session is our chance to establish rapport and connection. It's mostly focused on getting to know you—your story, your goals, the relationships in your life and what brought you to therapy. Nervousness is totally acceptable in the beginning; however, it is my sincerest hope that you don't leave feeling the same way.
