My communication style

My communication style is to listen with support and loving kindness. I want you to feel accepted, appreciated, and safe with me. I do my best to provide a calm and comfortable, judgment-free environment in which you can be vulnerable without worry.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always enjoyed hearing about people's experiences and lives. Folks lead extraordinary existences and often don't realize all they have endured and conquered. I love helping people feel celebrated and seen, improve their sense of self, and learn to practice healthy relationships with themselves and others.

My goals for you

I want to discover and clarify what goals are most important for you. I enjoy helping folks learn to safely experience and express the full range of emotions, increase coping and communication skills, create pockets of peace, and make desired changes that help them feel more aligned with their true selves and satisfied in life and relationships.

Our first session

I will ask what brings you to therapy and what you need to talk about first. I will ask questions about your background and clarify what goals are most important to you. My aim is for you to finish the session feeling hopeful and excited about the therapeutic journey.
