I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience providing service to community mental health. My specialties include anxiety, trauma, substance use, cultural-related issues, and adjustment to life-related stressors.
My approach
My approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), assisting individuals to restructure maladaptive thoughts causing them emotional discomfort. I strongly believe in active and interactive psychotherapy.
My focus
I have worked mostly with adults experiencing Co-Occurring Disorders, individuals (age 16+), couples, and families. I am willing to see individuals, couples, and families.
My communication style
I believe in active, interactive therapy with open communication. My style is direct but supportive, focused on helping you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns. I'll listen closely and ask questions to understand your perspective. Together, we'll have honest conversations to help you move forward.
My journey to mental healthcare
is to believe all humans are capable of change.
My goals for you
is to receive the best service possible to start your journey towards well-being and achieve the change you may desire.
