Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile. I am a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with individuals, children, and families. I am a trauma-informed, empathetic, and compassionate therapist with experience establishing genuine patient relationships.

I am a compassionate therapist with ability to connect and relate to individuals from different cultures and backgrounds. I have experience providing therapy to individuals, children, and families. I have experience working with children with disabilities and helping them to learn coping skills to help decrease behavior problems at home and school.

My approach

My clients appreciate my humanistic, strength-based, and solution focused approaches for improving their overall well-being. I have experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT) that are developmentally appropriate and in alignment with individual client needs.

My communication style

My communication style is open, conversational, supportive, and non-judgmental. I practice active listening and I will give you opportunities to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with an empathetic listener. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm, warm, and patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into therapy began with a desire to help others to heal from past trauma and life stressors. I believe in teaching, supporting, and empowering others to help them to heal and to reach their goals.

Our first session

During the first session, I will review the therapy process. I will ask questions to help me get to know you. I will also listen to your concerns and answer questions so that I can meet you where you are mentally and emotionally.
