Hi there, I'm Starr!

I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy to help my clients regain health, wholeness, and wellness.

My focus

In my experience, my style and approach are a good fit for young adults and adults who may be dealing with challenges, coping with trauma, grief and loss, social pressures, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I work to help my clients develop a more positive and adaptive way of thinking, feeling, and behaving.

My approach

My theoretical approach to therapy is based on the needs of each client. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality and help clients to develop a greater sense of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
