Hi there, I'm Nancy!

I believe therapy is the interplay of art and science and I strive to ensure my patients are safe, happy and healthy in and outside of session.

My focus

I provide depression, anxiety, inattention, trauma, adjustment, and neurodivergent mental health treatment to all ages. Collaboratively, my patients and I identify strengths and areas for improvement while building internal and external coping resources.

My approach

I use a warm, client-centered, Psychodynamic approach that pulls from different theoretical orientations. I ask many questions and provide a safe holding environment where you can discover how your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and past experiences connect.

My communication style

I am warm, empathic, and sometimes silly. I value open and honest communication, and I consistently ask patients for their feedback to better inform their mental health treatment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I graduated with a BA in Psychology, worked at a social history non-profit for a few years, and decided to pursue a degree that would allow me to provide clinical care to individuals assigned mental health diagnoses.

My goals for you

I help patients identify areas for improvement (because identification is a precursor to change) so that we can work on clinically appropriate and meaningful treatment goals. I help patients with accountability, motivation, and adaptive problem solving.

Our first session

After reviewing relevant consents, I will ask you many questions while providing a safe holding/listening environment where we will collaboratively identify your presenting symptoms, behaviors, and functional impairments.
